Professional Women in Construction

Founded in 1980, Professional Women in Construction (PWC) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization committed to advancing professional, entrepreneurial, and managerial opportunities for women and other "non-traditional" populations in construction and related industries. Beginning with a dozen women in 1980, PWC now counts over 600 women, men, companies and public agencies as members and reaches a constituency of close to 8,000.  It provides invaluable information on construction trends through seminars and facilitates business interaction through networking events

Building Contractors Association (BCA)

The Building Contractors Association (BCA) originated in 1933 to represent prominent commercial construction firms in New York City.  The association has prospered and served members and the construction industry throughout the years. The prime purpose of the Building Contractors Association has been and will continue to be the negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements with the Building Trades Unions. The BCA membership of comprised of Firms who are recognized leaders in the New York Construction Industry, and have been for years.
